Emily Blunt delivers a career-highlight performance as Margaret Fairchild, a bubbly Kansas City weather presenter whose life flips upside down after a strange encounter. She gains remarkable abilities and gets pulled into a dangerous mission alongside Josh O’Connor’s whistleblower, Daniel Kellner — a defected cybersecurity expert carrying explosive proof of decades of alien contact cover-ups. Together they race against time (and shadowy forces led by a menacing Colin Firth) to broadcast the truth to the world on “Disclosure Day.”.

What works brilliantly:

• Blunt is magnetic — She brings humor, vulnerability, and raw determination to Margaret, anchoring the film emotionally.
